           Ian Miller

2. What is their story about?
         Apple slowing down old phones

3. What is their direct opinion about that topic? Please quote it directly from the story or do a
 really good job of paraphrasing.
"... to buy the newest and greatest Apple product, which, if you ask me, is truly evil."

4. Did they address what the other side might think about their topic?
Yes, how slowing down old phones to make room for the new phones is pretty genius.

5. Were they wishy-washy with their opinion? By this I mean did they ever go back and
say well maybe if this were to happen, then their opinion wouldn't be valid. Support your opinion.
No, it didn't seem like it.

B. Why do you think there aren't very many photos on this page?
Because you don't want people getting offended over a little opinion.

C. What are three topics you think would be good to write an opinions piece on?
Shane Dawson being the queen of  YouTube, how Tater Tots are actually fueling anxiety and gun violence

HDR

1. What manipulations to the camera will you need to make to create an HDR image?            The same pictures taken at different exposure levels.

2. What equipment will we use to take this type of image?            Camera(obviously) tripod and a photo blending software

3. What is the reason someone might take an HDR image?            Because they look really nice. Except one user on the "19 beautiful examples of HDR done right" said the photos look like cat vomit but he's insignificant in this class so his opinion doesn't matter.

4. What can we expect to happen with the images once we merge them together, what will we see that we might not have seen with just one photo?              They'll become HDR. And we'll be able to everything the photos didn't show before.

Pictures of HDR I thought didn't look like cat vomit.

2. Where do you think would be a great place to take this type of picture here on the Bowie campus?

            Somewhere nice, maybe inside?

3. Can you think of something creative to actually DO in the photo when you take yours?
Sitting at a panic table and taking pictures of yourself talking to yourself so it makes it seem like you're not as lonely as you actually are.

4. Is there something you could wear that would help you when you do this photo?
           I don't know, clothes?

Deciding the winner was a conflicting processes where the "judges turn on each other and start to eat our young" considering they all had different options.            One of the judges didn't like one of the pictures because the left wing was cut off and I disagree because I think the picture looked fine regardless of the "left wing" being cut off.

My Opinion Story

Imagine yourself scrolling through YouTube. Outlandish thumbnails pass your eye, and nothing seems to pop. You see Markiplier and consider it, but rather growing tired of his content. And just before giving up, you spot something from the corner of your eye. "Trying Dumb Summer Life Hacks!" in all caps. A man is shown sitting in a blanket of actual chip backs, barely staying afloat above the water. It's Shane Dawson, a popular YouTuber. You think to yourself, what a queen, and click on his video immediately. And suddenly, you understand why love is so valued.
The first time I witnessed the hilarity of Shane Dawson was on YouTuber's React--which he doesn't do anymore--and his charm, low-self esteem issues and commentary has burrowed a place in my heart where he rules like the queen he is. There's something about him that makes every single word he utters so relatable and gut-busting hilarious. His comedy is an even whole of self-deprecating and egoistic. And for that, I just think he's a total queen--and so does his 12 million subscribers.
One example of why Dawson deserves just a royal title is the fact that he is a perfect specimen of what it feels like to be/used to be overweight with low-self esteem. He recently made a video where his boyfriend, Ryland Adams, wears a fat-suit to experience what Dawson felt throughout high school. During part 2 of the video, Dawson begins crying and sappily explains that what he has been through isn't a laughing matter, and no one should undergo his past. From what I gather from all of his books and videos, it's clear he is afraid of gaining weight, which is tethered to old, tormenting memories. After he had uploaded his video, comments swarmed him via YouTube and Twitter, praising him for his truthful speech and how relatable he is in weight.
If you dig deep beyond the surface of Dawson's past, you'll see some reports of offensive mistakes that he deeply regrets. What he did was nothing to discus about now, but he has "owned up to the mistake he's made" and no longer expels them into his videos. Hatred towards him is like fireworks. Loud, useless and over before it even starts. Just two months ago, Dawson found a hate video about him and invited the hater to his house to discuss over the hater's, Bobby, fiery dislike to Dawson. Now, they are friends and even share Dawson's channel.
He has inspired so many people after his coming out story, maybe three or two years ago. He had a steady relationship with Liza Shwartz before breaking up, but maintaining their friendship. He began a fond affection with Ryland Adams, and are currently dating. Apparently, he has inspired a lot of people with his coming out video. Unlike a lot of other YouTuber's, Dawson came out as bisexual. "There's hasn't been a lot of bisexual coming-out videos..." Says Dawson in one of his videos.
One of my personal favorite "characters" he plays is bluntly titled, "the Queen character" and is widely just as popular as "Shananay". The Queen character appears a lot throughout his videos and usually constants of him being conceited, but with a sprinkle of comedy over his words. The character got its own video, titled, "Burning my Play Button" where he played it throughout the entire video. Briefly, a Silver Play Button from YouTube arrived for his 11 million subscribers report and he acted very posh and worthy. It was hilarious, and unforgettable.
Another side to this opinion is that Shane Dawson is just another partially gay YouTuber, and frankly there are many other YouTuber's with the same situation as he and it wouldn't be fair to crown him as The Queen of YouTube when there's many other YouTubers worthy as well.
My solution is that maybe if the fans are passionate enough for Shane Dawson, they could chip in and buy him a beautifully golden crown embezzled with diamond and rainbows and present it to him as a present. Sure he has a crown, but it is, after all, a cheap plastic tiara that has broken because of his "fat head".
In conclusion, Shane Dawson in a complete and utterly reliable Queen with inspired fans and comedy that is executed perfectly.

Earthquake Story

McHenry's Auto Shop, and eight others, were victims of an earthquake. The Auto Shop was partially destroyed and two killed. It happened at San Francisco Bay on Monday morning around 8:12 AM PDT.

The apartment from across the Auto Shop, resident Mike Beamer, says he felt  "rolling motion that lasted for about 30 seconds". He was eating breakfast at the moment when he had dove under the table. During an explosion transpiring outside, a cement chuck flew through his kitchen window, making the scream distinct.

The quake was apparently 6.4 on the Richter Scale and the core was in Hayward Hills. Penny Gertz creatively called it, 'the strong one'.

Five American Red Cross workers, 12 police officers and a team twenty-one fire staffs quickly arrived on the scene within four minutes.

Two out of the six people were found dead and the rest were injured. They are being held in the Hayward General Hospital.

Huntington Story

Around Wednesday, 10 PM, a woman's vengeful dog somehow shot her as she was enjoying her pork chop. The bullet entered Janice Jones's leg, and two inches from the gas tank. She'll survive, safely tucked away in the hospital.

It's reported that Jones abused the dog, Tombo with cigarette burns and was malnourish. She is being filed for animal abuse, as she should be.

As well as animal abuse, her RV's license plate was expired and lacks a permit for a gun. She is not the luckiest person alive, but frankly deserve what has been aimed to her.

Interviews(School Uniforms)

School Uniforms:

My math teacher, Ms. Cayer who is really sweet and I feel like she'd have some killer points for no-uniform
My Biology teacher, Mr. Damien because I'm sure he has something to say about uniforms(and some tacky joke that he expects is funny but probably won't be)

15. Will teachers wear dress code? We can't have them show creatively and individuality.
16. Can schools with uniforms have passes for certain achievements were a student has one day of no uniform?
17. Will boy and girl uniforms differ and look the same?
18. Can uniforms help (anti)social anxiety/manners?
